A passionate admirer of dogs ever since his youthful years, Jim realized his love for dogs as the years went on.  A person who loved dogs, Jim held an assiduous attention to his dogs, often watching closely his dogs’ ‘everyday’ moves, but suddenly, as the years passed, he had an epiphany.   He realized that each pose of his dog along with its everyday expressions and the ‘look’ your dog occasionally gives you, could mean a lot if he was able to capture it all on camera, and that was what he did.  Holding an optimistic attitude, Jim immediately set to work.  Deep inside, he kept the still memories of his past dog in his heart, recollecting how his dog had meant so much to his, especially through its final stage of life that had brought a time of grieving and endurance, but now, he thought, there was hope.  There was hope that someday, he would be able to change somebody’s lives and bring joy to their sullen faces, and let them be able to experiment for themselves: the eternal beauty and the emotion of their dogs.  Indeed, he wanted to achieve his goal of making sure his clients were satisfied with the photos.  However, he also wanted them to be exposed to the qualities of his pictures, and come home happy that they chose to work with Jim Karnopp Photography.  At Jim Karnopp studio, we possess a genuine need to reveal your dogs’ unique expressions all captured on camera.
At Jim Karnopp studio,  we are strong supporters of the animal community.  In addition, we hold tremendous support on the righteous treatment of animals and are willing to hold necessary fundraising for the homeless pets in order to restore their precious lives.  Through this all, we hope we will be able to continue to satisfy our clients with our style of photography and continue to change innocent pet lives.
